I have had quite the life. I’ve given birth to five children, buried two of them, been married and divorced a few times, been an instructor at a college, been an addict, been in prison, been at the bottom of the black hole/hellscape/shit show–dug and clawed and ripped my way out of it–it’s been a ride.
