Paul’s bike shop is called “Fish’s Bicycle Repair,” very clever, right?

I’ve decided that I’m going to cut all of the people out of my life that aren’t helpful and don’t want to change into better people. 

I’ll just treat them like they treat me–like nothing, like a servant, you know?

They see me struggle and struggle to change the world into a better place, and then they don’t lift a finger to help out, you know?

Motorcycle might be a real asshole when he gets hurt and mad, but he does try to be better the next time.

People like Paul and Gem and this disabled, paralyzed, elderly man I’m taking care of are just a broken record of me, me, me, I this and I that, and they start every damn sentence with “I,” right?

Well, fuck that noise.

I’m so sick of “seeing the good” in everyone, and then having them treat me and the world around them like shit.

Show me the money, right?

SHOW me that you are a good person, by doing the right thing when the right thing is called for.

And it’s always the hard thing, right?

Well, starting today, I’m going to do what they do, and put myself first for once.

We’re gonna see how that goes.
